Concurrent Session- Emerging Technology

April 17, 2018 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM Ballroom B Concurrent Sessions

Technology is evolving rapidly and is disrupting systems, processes, and entire businesses that have been in place for years. The real estate industry is no exception. New real estate technology – or “PropTech” as it is commonly referred to – is changing how buildings are designed, built, transacted, operated, and even occupied.  This panel will focus on ways in which technology is being used to streamline processes and make tasks more efficient, from design and operations, to development and construction, and everything in between. The speakers will attempt to answer questions such as: what are the best new technologies firms can start using today? Or, what new real estate technology companies are being funded by investors that are poised to change the way real estate is done in the near future?
