Michael manages Willard Retail’s acquisition and development of retail and mixed‐use properties in the Mid-Atlantic.
Before co-founding Willard Retail, Michael served as Vice President at JBGR Retail, where he was responsible for development project management and retail acquisitions. He has been directly responsible for the development and entitlement of over 2.5 million square feet of residential, office, and retail density with a market value of $200 million, and the acquisition of over $380 million of retail assets. Prior to joining JBGR Retail, Michael worked for the urban planning and design firm Streetsense, where he was involved in all aspects of retail design, planning, and placemaking.
He received his B.F.A. in Fine Arts and B.A. in Psychology from Washington University in Saint Louis, and an M.B.A. from the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University.
