Donna Westmoreland is the Chief Operating Officer of I.M.P., Inc., the independent Washington, D.C. concert promotion company that owns the legendary 9:30 Club, operates Merriweather Post Pavilion and the historic Lincoln Theatre, and recently opened The Anthem at The Wharf. She began her music industry career working for Wynton Marsalis’ management company. Subsequently she joined the 9:30 Club as the Bar Manager and quickly became the General Manager and also handled production management at I.M.P.’s larger shows. After opening the 9:30 Club’s V Street location, she moved to San Francisco and spearheaded the marketing, nonprofit and sponsorship components of the groundbreaking Lilith Fair festival. Donna returned to I.M.P. as the Director of Marketing in 2002 and has guided the company since as C.O.O. since 2010, managing the building and opening of the groundbreaking new venue, The Anthem. She is active in nonprofit work and is a competitive age group triathlete.
